About Us

Brook McLaren Nicholas founded BMN Construction in 1999. He is a licensed, bonded and insured contractor who has been working in construction for 25 years. Brook began his career in carpentry in high school and went on to earn a degree in construction management from CSU Chico building tract homes to pay his way. Brook worked with R.J. Dailey Construction, one of the Bay Area’s largest builders, before returning to the Truckee-Tahoe area to live the dream with his wife and kids.

Surrounded by a dependable crew who share his high standards for quality, Brook aims for first-time perfection by working closely with owners. Although he maintains a 100 percent pass rate for all inspections, Brook’s true pride comes from his client’s satisfaction.

BMN Construction is an accredited and approved member of the Better Business Bureau and a member in good standing with the Contractors Association of Truckee Tahoe (CATT).
